Get your ice cubes ready for this barbecue treat! Frozen corn, fresh snow peas, sliced, sweet onions, a pat or two of butter, and two ice cubes are tucked inside an aluminum foil packet, sealed and plopped onto the grill. Makes six generous servings.
Brussels sprouts are simply seasoned with salt, pepper, and olive oil, then slow-roasted in a very hot oven until darkest brown. They are the perfect combination of sweet and salty, and make for perfect snack leftovers straight from the fridge the next day!
Get out your grater or food processor, you'll need to grate up a bunch of zucchini. But this is what makes these patties fry up so wonderfully. A nice change from potato pancakes. Serve with a bit of tomato sauce or sour cream dabbed on top.
A new recipe a neighbor gave us. What a hit with my family. Just the right mixture of garlic and cashews with our favorite side dish, broccoli. And, so very easy to make!! If in a pinch, you could probably use frozen broccoli too, but I haven't tried.
This is NOTHING like canned creamed corn! My husband is not a fan of corn or creamed dishes, but he thinks this is great. Easy and quick to prepare and is an especially delicious side dish for chicken or pork. Everyone always asks for the recipe.
